Of its 51,000 square kilometers, 25% of Costa Rican land is protected in the form of biological reserves, national parks, and refuges.  Adding to the richness of the country's diversity are the clear waters of the Pacific Ocean that border the country on the west and the Caribbean waters that border the east.  Mountain chains and volcanos surrounded by hiking trails, caves and hot water springs offer additional wonders.  

Socially, politically and economically Costa Rica is one of the most advanced nations in the region.  As a democracy without a standing armed force, substantial resources are dedicated to the provision of health care and education (the country claims a 98% literacy rate).  The warmness of the people makes a lasting impression on all those who visit. 

We  provide the unique opportunity to study at three different locations CPI MONTEVERDE,  CPI HEREDIA and CPI FLAMINGO.   From these three diverse areas of Costa Rica CPI offers afternoon and week-end tours so that our students can explore the country's natural wonders and experience Costa Rican culture.
